National Parks Week: Scotland

For a higher climb this #NationalParksWeek take a trip to one of Scotland’s National Parks for a cycle around the famous loch or a refreshing walk through the highlands – just don’t forget your raincoat!

Loch1. Loch Katrine, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park (FREE)
Difficulty: Medium
Length: 12.98 miles

This route is perfect for cycling around the peaceful loch. Tracks are close to the waterline with some high climbs, but the higher you go the better the views are so it is definitely worth the push. This is a long ride so why not jump on board the steamer and see the park in more than one way – there’s plenty to see!

2. Beinn Mheadhoin & Cairngorm National Park (£)
Difficulty: Very Hard
Length: 19.25 miles

A classic highland walk in the Scottish surroundings of Cairngorm National Park. Although a challenging walk, this route gives you a tour of the impressive granite rocks in the area. Passing through the pinewoods and over the Lui water, this path is jam packed so make sure you stop for lots of breathers!
