Today we have published a further 10,000 expert-authored, downloadable, guided hiking and biking trails across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol.
Published to coincide with the ISPO outdoors industry exhibition being held in Munich this week, the German language trail guides have been created by local experts from regional tourism agencies, hiking associations, and other publishers. The trail guides can be downloaded, viewed, and navigated on Apple iPad, iPhone, Android, and Symbian mobile devices using the ViewRanger Outdoors GPS app, or viewed via the My.ViewRanger.com social network website.
This latest set of trail guides includes many trails to choose from in Bavaria and the Alps in Austria and Switzerland. Publishers include:
• Tourismusverband Alpenregion Tegernsee Schliersee e. V. (Alpine regional tourism)
• Schweiz Tourismus (Swiss Tourism)
• Tourismusverband Ostallgäu
• Vorarlberg Tourismus
• das Berchtesgardener Land

These new routes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol add to the alpine winter routes for cross country skiing and snow shoeing we launched at the end of 2011, and add to the continuously growing library of navigable trail guides in Europe, the USA, and around the world.
