My.ViewRanger.com is our web based route planning and community sharing tool that works seamlessly with the ViewRanger App. It even has wire-less synchronisation to your devices, so that you can upload routes you’ve created or discovered on My.ViewRanger.com to your mobile.

But route planning is just one part of what My.ViewRanger will let you do, because the two way sync also means that any tracks you’ve recorded are stored on the web, ready to be shared or published as routes to the ViewRanger community.

Create your own Route

Use our simple tool to build a route from scratch or alternatively you can import an existing GPX file, either way it’s easy to create and install routes onto your mobile; for your own private use or better still choose to share them with all our customers. You can plan your route on a range of map layers and even use any premium mapping that you've already purchased (currently GB, NI, IE, FR, DE, USA, CA & NZ)

Don’t know the area? Prefer to use a local expert route? Just browse and choose from the massive database of published routes* and its ready to sync/download onto your mobile app. *currently mostly in UK.

Share your Adventures

By simply recording your track you can create an mapped record of your adventure. And as we integrate with photo sharing services from Flickr & Picasa - geotagged pictures you take and upload can be automatically attached to your track, when you synchronise it to My.ViewRanger. You can also attach twitter messages to mapped trail. So you got a instant multi-media Trip Journal that you can post to your Facebook page, embed in your blog or email to friends.

Publish to the Community

Discovered a great route? We want to make My.ViewRanger a real community sharing site – so why not upload your recorded track and publish it to all our customers. You can add photo’s and notes to make it a great experience for others. And publish links using your Facebook page or by email.

Invite your friends to join you

And because our online community can also be accessed by non-ViewRanger customers (limited guest access), you can use it to invite friends to participate in activities, by sharing a route summary link with them by e-mail, Facebook or Twitter.

It's completely free to use and as a registered ViewRanger customer, you can log-in using your existing ViewRanger account details. Once logged in, you can link the service to your mobile device. And because it’s completely integrated with our mobile app you can manage your ViewRanger account, even top-up your ViewRanger credit.
