ViewRanger Event

Last night we hosted our Top Publisher Awards event at the beautiful Interchange Triangle building in Camden, London. The event included a route publishing workshop for getting the most out of your digital route guides, as well as evening presentations from selected partners on the various ways they use ViewRanger. Our audience was also given an exclusive preview of a new feature that is coming very soon, so watch this space!

Hetty's talkOur brand ambassador Hetty Key, adventure racer and blogger (mudchalkandgears.com), talked about all of the journeys she couldn’t have done without ViewRanger; from the thirteen-hour Lakes Sky Ultra race to watching the sun rise over the Alps after climbing Mont Blanc. Her advice to all of us was, ‘Get on ViewRanger, get planning and start your adventure!’ Who couldn’t be inspired when listening to those stories?

Kris Manning

Kris Manning, Head of Land Search Operations of Lowland Rescue, also told us how ViewRanger helps to coordinate searches and maintain accurate grid references, taking navigation to the next level. The right tools save lives in the world of search and rescue, and we’re proud to be a part of it.

Alister SDNPA

At the South Downs National Park Authority, ViewRanger is used as a communication tool by rangers. Alister Linton-Cook, Cycling Projects Officer, sees ViewRanger as a dynamic tool – having the ability to update and change trails and add greater information as and when it’s needed.

The winners of our Top Publisher Awards spanned four countries and were judged on the quality of their route guides, as well as their content’s creativity, uniqueness and popularity with outdoor enthusiasts.
